Hey everyone thanks for visiting the official Sons Of Blitzkrieg website! The purpose of this site is to join and discuss our upcoming clan Sons Of Blitzkrieg (working title), a german weapons only based clan dedicated to making a name for ourselves in the soon released Call of Duty:World at War videogame for the XBOX360. Now as some of you might know an awesome beta version of the Call of Duty:World at War multi-player mode was released and made available to some dedicated fans in early october (ofcourse, me being one of them) and has seem to have raised the bar on the previous most played multi-player game Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare bringing much anticipation to all of us hardcore multi-player Call of Duty gamers.
The game itself is being handled by Treyarch (Call of Duty 2:Big Red One,Call of Duty 3) and to much of my enjoyment placed back into the world war 2 era. This time around introducing new theaters of warfare by adding the South Pacific perspective of the last great war as American marines going against the imperial Japanese (bringing a new enemy type for the CoD series) and the last days of the German third reich as seen through the eyes of Russian soldiers in the newly offensive Soviet Army. Moving on to the multi-player side of things, in Call of Duty:World at War we are introduced to new gamemodes, perks (there are now vehicle perks), attachments (bipods, supressors, and even aperture sights), not five but ten custom classes, and ten levels of prestige which when considering there are now 65 levels of rank equals to 650 levels altogether. Pretty much a multi-player's dream.
Now our job here is to recruit dedicated players who enjoy using weapons of the Wehrmacht (German Army) such as the quick and destructive MP-40, the first assault rifle ever made STG-44, the best bolt-action rifle ever KAR-98k, and the oft-feared MG-42, into one kick ass clan.
